Syncing your data privately and securely is the top goal
The only personal identifying information that we ask for is your name and email. This, along with any financial data that you sync, never gets shared with ad or marketing platforms.
Bank connections are powered by Plaid. This third party handles the account connection process and doesn't allow the app to see or store your login credentials (not that we would ever want to). Stripe connections sync via restricted API keys where Finta only has restricted access to your account.
All financial data flows directly to your destination. No transactions, holdings, balances, investments, or payments data will be stored in any of our databases. This data is only fetched from Plaid or Stripe when it's time to sync. This also means that if you disconnect your account, Finta won't be able to access any of your data.
Any data stored in Finta's database is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Any data stored by Finta is stored in Planetscale. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit and Planetscale is SOC 2 compliant.
